The NFL has announced that Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III is a nominee for one of this week's FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards. Walker recorded 139 scrimmage yards (128 rushing, 11 receiving) and two rushing touchdowns in a dominating performance against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As part of FedEx's expanded work with Feeding America and longstanding commitment to addressing food insecurity, Walker's honor would also spark a $2,000 donation to Harvesters – The Community Food Network, a local Kansas City food bank in the Feeding America network.

Walker recently won the award for his Week 4 performance, recording 20 carries for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the divisional win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
