The 2026 Grand Slam of Darts is due to take place between 14 and 22 November 2026 at WV Active in Aldersley (Wolverhampton) and will be the 20th staging of the tournament, which features 48 players for the first time, expanded from 32.
Finalists from PDC televised tournaments, PDC ProTour winners and additional qualifiers make up the first 40 places before being joined by eight Tour Card holder qualifiers. Luke Littler will lead the field as the defending champion. He defeated Luke Humphries 16-11 in the 2025 final, and both will return this time alongside a supporting cast of former winners, including Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, and James Wade, as well as current leading lights.
This includes Ross Smith, who has won two major titles already this season in the form of the World Series of Darts Finals and European Championship, as well as Gian van Veen, Nathan Aspinall and Martin Schindler. All of whom like Littler, Price, Humphries, and Van Gerwen, among others, have either won majors or reached major finals in 2026.
Those from secondary tours or events such as the Women's World Matchplay and World Youth Championship also seal spots with Beau Greaves, Cam Crabtree, Sebastian Bialecki, Joe Hunt, and Lisa Ashton involved, as well as Paolo Nebrida, Adam Sevada, Raymond Smith, and a to-be-confirmed as of time of writing Nordic and Baltic champion.
Wessel Nijman, Jonny Clayton, Josh Rock, Luke Woodhouse, Krzysztof Ratajski and Niels Zonneveld as European Tour winners also seal their spots in the event. As do ProTour champions from Chris Dobey, having won three titles, to Cameron Menzies with two down to Rob Cross, Karel Sedlacek, Andrew Gilding and even the two non-Tour Card winners this year, Henry Coates and Tommy Morris – the final ProTour champion.
Stephen Bunting, Tom Sykes, Niko Springer, Ricky Evans and Joe Cullen are among the Tour Card Holder Qualifiers confirmed later in the week. All players are seeded in the group stage based on their Order of Merit and will be split into pools. Each group will consist of one player from each pool, and the winner of each group under the extended format goes through to the knockout stages.
Luke Littler won the title last year.
As ever, the event which started as a cross-code tournament on ITV with BDO players drifted away from that, towards now ditching the amateur element entirely, and is shown on Sky Sports in full.
It will begin on Saturday, 14 November, with two sessions a day over the weekend, so it will begin at 1pm on the Saturday and 7:30pm in the evening, and the same goes for Sunday, shown over a multitude of different channels depending on what other sport is on at that time.
Otherwise, it is mostly evening sessions from 7pm each night until the final day, when we get semi-finals in the afternoon and the final in the evening session.
It will be shown worldwide through other channels, including DAZN in Germany and Viaplay in the Netherlands. The US will show the tournament on Peacock with the subscription provider having the Sky Sports feed for the Premier League Darts play-offs and finals, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, US Darts Masters, and selected portions of the World Darts Championship.
For other territories, it will be shown subject to local listings or on PDCTV outside of the leading countries in full over the course of the week.
