Lewis Hall wants to leave Newcastle United and join Manchester United shamelessly pushed by BBC Sport yet again,

BBC Sport are at it yet again, leading with Lewis Hall wants to leave Newcastle United and join Manchester United.

BBC Sport stating on their main page ‘Manchester United are plotting a major defensive overhaul next summer and will revisit a deal for Newcastle and England left-back Lewis Hall, 22, who is keen to move to Old Trafford.’

This takes you then to their ‘Transfer Gossip’ page and is the lead story.

The trouble is that so many people still think of BBC Sport as the one you can trust.

The one that doesn’t have to rely on putting out any old nonsense where they don’t care whether it is true or not to get attention and clicks, or where they even know for sure it is just completely fabricated. BBC Sport publicly funded and in such a privileged position.

That has all changed though, the BBC Sport bosses willing to sell their soul and put out any nonsense. Their feeble Transfer Gossip page is full of cringeworthy made up nonsense from many of the very most unreliable and untrustworthy sources.

The Transfer Gossip page is also the BBC Sport page that gets the most visitors. If you are outside the UK then you are served with adverts when you visit BBC Sport pages, it isn’t difficult to understand why they are willing to push the most embarrassing stories that they know are rubbish.

Which brings us back to Lewis Hall wanting to leave Newcastle United and sign for Manchester United.

This is the top transfer story that BBC Sport are currently pushing.

This latest Lewis Hall desperate to leave Newcastle United and join Manchester United embarrassment from BBC Sport is based on desperate nonsense from Pete Hall.

I had never heard of him but he covers Man U for The i Paper and obviously writing this kind of rubbish to please his target Manchester United audience.

Pete Hall states: ‘Everyone at the club, at all levels, recognises Man U’s hierarchy made a huge misstep in not signing a left-back. Had Lewis Hall been available at a more acceptable price, then he would have arrived early in the summer window. Newcastle United’s price tag and reluctance to sell put paid to any pursuit, but it is understood Man U will revisit the deal next summer. Sources have told The i Paper that Hall was interested in a move to Old Trafford a few months ago and has not changed that stance.’

It is pathetic this kind of stuff, claiming sources/sauces but conveniently ignoring the facts, what is out in the public domain.

This Man U slanted reporter failing to mention that only a month ago lifelong Newcastle UNITED fan Lewis Hall signed a huge new extended and enhanced contract with United and said the following:

Lewis Hall: “I’m absolutely delighted. It’s a really proud moment. It’s an absolute pleasure to play for this club and to represent the supporters. I know how much it means to them. The fanbase and the support we get here, whether it’s at St. James’ Park or away, it’s the best in the league in my opinion. To be able to bring joy to their faces, it’s a big thing for me.”

The brilliant young United star adding: “I obviously have a family connection with the club, which is incredibly important to us all. One of the main reasons I play is to make my family proud, and I know how much it means to them to watch me playing for Newcastle United. It’s a really good place to be. It’s really pleasing with how we’ve started the season, especially with the new Gaffer and coaching staff coming in, and I think we can go on to achieve really big things.”

Who knows what the future holds for Lewis Hall?

One thing for sure though, he won’t be going to Manchester United.

Lewis Hall is the best left-back in the Premier League, looks now set to make the England left-back position his own after some superb performances for Thomas Tuchel this past month.

Even if Lewis Hall did leave Newcastle United at some point, why on earth would he choose to go to a failing chaotic club such as Manchester United who are set to sack yet another manager, when he would have his pick of so many far better successful clubs?

The truth is out there somewhere BUT you are far less likely to find it on BBC Sport these days.
