Several unnamed Bundesliga clubs linked with Leeds United marksman

Nmecha played on loan for VfL Wolfsburg in the 2019/20 season, and then permanently from 2021 to 2025. It's not out of the question that the Hamburg native could begin a third chapter in Germany next year.

According to sources at Teamtalk, Leeds United would consider cashing in on Lukas Nmecha amid interest from the Bundesliga.

Leeds are equally not opposed to an extension, but the striker himself is hesitant in negotiations due to his limited playing time.

Although the 27-year-old has featured in five of their six Premier League games this season, he has only played a total of 75 minutes.

Meanwhile, according to the report, Nmecha's advisor is exploring the market to find potential buyers for next summer.

Besides a possible move to the Championship – England's second division – a trail also leads back to the German topflight.

In fact, Teamtalk notes that there are already offers from the Bundesliga, but the English website doesn't name any specific clubs.

However, financially, Nmecha's considerable salary is highly likely to be an obstacle for a handful of Bundesliga teams.

According to Transfermarkt.com, 1.FC Köln could be in the running for the former VfL Wolfsburg man alongside Wrexham.
