Rookie running back Emmett Johnson has been one of the Kansas City Chiefs' most exciting players through seven games of the 2026 NFL regular season, and the experts at Pro Football Focus have officially taken notice.
While Johnson is still playing second fiddle to Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III in Kansas City's backfield, the former Nebraska Cornhusker is forcing missed tackles at a rate that might cause Chiefs head coach Andy Reid to adjust the first-year standout's share of carries.
According to PFF, Johnson leads the NFL with the highest miss-tackle-forced rate among qualified running backs with an impressive mark of 61.8 percent:
Walker isn't far behind his rookie running mate and currently occupies the third-place spot behind Seattle Seahawks rusher George Holani.
Stay tuned to see if Johnson and Walker can continue dominating in the running game when the Chiefs face off against the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 9.
