Davante Adams limped to the sideline after suffering an apparent non-contact injury to his left leg late in the Rams' loss to Arizona.
At the end of the Los Angeles Rams' 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, wide receiver Davante Adams appeared to suffer an injury to his left leg. While running a route late in the fourth quarter, Adams came up hobbling and was grabbing his left knee area.
He didn't make contact with any players on the play, so it was a non-contact injury, but the severity of it is not yet known. Sean McVay wasn't asked about Adams' status after the game, nor did he provide any update on the star receiver.
The Rams only ran one more play on offense, which was Colby Parkinson's go-ahead touchdown, but Adams was not on the field for that final snap. Here's a look at the play where the injury occurred.
He was looked at briefly on the sideline but he wasn't taken to the locker room, as it was near the end of the game anyway.
McVay is expected to address the media on Monday, at which point he'll likely provide an update on Adams' status. But for now, it's anyone's guess as to how severe Adams' injury is.
