Watford head coach Alessio Dionisi says questions about his future cannot be answered by him.

The Hornets were thrashed 5-1 at Cardiff on Tuesday night to make it four successive defeats in the Championship and nine goals conceded in their past two games.

"I don't like this question because it's impossible for me to answer," Dionisi told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"I take the team on the pitch and during the training - that question is not for me."

The defeat drops Watford into the relegation zone with their poor run coming after a three-game unbeaten start to the season which included an opening-day win over Southampton.

"I am angry with me and with my players because after the last match [4-0 home defeat by Burnley] we spoke about this situation and today we wanted another reaction," the Italian said after the Cardiff loss.

"At the end of the first half the match was finished - it's now important to work and it's my responsibility because I am coach, but it's important everyone takes responsibility.

"The problem is not one person, it is everyone - there isn't one player or one person to solve this problem."
