Tiffany Stratton returned to WWE SmackDown after missing last week’s show following a scary fall at Money in the Bank. The former WWE Women’s Champion helped Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky before teasing a possible cash-in.

Stratton had been absent from WWE TV since winning the Women’s MITB Ladder Match earlier this month. It was her second time winning the briefcase, giving her the chance to challenge for a championship whenever she wants.

However, her victory came with a concerning moment. During the match, Stratton climbed a tall ladder and attempted a Swanton Bomb onto Charlotte Flair, Lash Legend, and Lola Vice. Unfortunately, the ladder moved, causing her to miss the exact spot and land dangerously on her head and neck.

After winning the match, Stratton admitted during a post-show interview that her neck was hurting. She then missed the following episode of SmackDown, where Morgan suggested that Stratton had been injured during the Ladder Match.

The October 23 episode of SmackDown featured Chelsea Green defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez. Perez earned the title match after pinning Green on RAW two weeks earlier.

The match took a turn when members of The Judgment Day appeared at ringside to help Perez. However, IYO SKY arrived to help Green retain her championship.

The trouble continued after the match, as Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Perez attacked Green and Sky. Morgan caught Green off guard, while SKY tried to fight back against the Judgment Day members.

Perez then went after SKY, and the Judgment Day members continued their attack. Just when things looked bad for Green and SKY, Stratton rushed to the ring.

Miss MITB 2026 immediately attacked Perez and knocked her out of the ring. She then hit Morgan with a knee and took down Rodriguez with a hurricanrana. This gave SKY an opening to hit a missile dropkick on Rodriguez from the top rope.

With the Judgment Day members on the back foot, Stratton thought of using her Money in the Bank contract.

The two-time briefcase winner considered cashing in on Morgan and even hit her with the briefcase. However, Rodriguez and Perez pulled Morgan out of the ring before Stratton could officially challenge for the championship.

The moment hinted that Morgan could be Stratton’s main target as she looks to become champion.
