Bournemouth head coach Marco Rose is expected to revert to his strongest lineup for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Leeds United at the Vitality Stadium.
The German made a total of eight changes to his side for Wednesday’s 3-0 home victory over Aston Villa in the EFL Cup fourth round.
Michele Di Gregorio was handed his first domestic start for Bournemouth between the sticks, but Rose has confirmed that Djordje Petrovic remains his “clear number one” and the Serbian will be recalled to face Leeds.
Antonio Silva is poised to retain his starting spot at the heart of the defence, with Adam Smith, James Hill and Adrien Truffert all expected to earn recalls to the back four after being rested in midweek.
After scoring against Villa last time out, Ex-Leeds man Lewis Cook will hope to continue in centre-midfield alongside either Tyler Adams or Ryan Christie.
Justin Kluivert is expected to replace Amine Adli – another goalscorer in midweek – in the number 10 role, while in-form Marcus Tavernier and Rayan are both set to return on the flanks.
Evanilson has scored four goals in his last five appearances for Bournemouth and is expected to lead the line once again, while last season’s top scorer Eli Junior Kroupi is available for selection but not yet ready to start in attack.
Elsewhere, Alex Scott (thigh), Alex Toth (thigh) and Julian Araujo all remain out with thigh injuries, while Veljko Milosavljevic (knee) will be assessed after playing for the Under-21s earlier this week.
Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Petrovic; Smith, Hill, Silva, Truffert; Adams, Cook; Rayan, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson
