The Stena Line ferry returning across the Irish Sea in the evening has been cancelled.

This means that while supporters can travel to Scotland for the St Johnstone game on Saturday, there is no return journey on the same day.

The next return sailing is expected to be on Sunday afternoon.

As a result, fans intending to make the trip by ferry will need to plan for an overnight stay in Scotland.

The Rangers podcast "Hands Across the Water" alerted fans on social media.

They said: "Stena Line have advised that tomorrow morning’s sailing is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

"However, tomorrow evening’s sailing home has now been cancelled.

"The next sailing home is expected to be on Sunday afternoon.

"Please make sure you are aware of these changes and plan accordingly."
