Rangers will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The Light Blues’ seven-game winning streak was snapped last weekend following a 2-2 draw against Dundee, and Derek McInnes was criticised a bit for tinkering with a winning formula.
It remains to be seen what he does to ensure that the Gers pick up the three points again and start to go on another run.

Emmanuel Fernandez has been struggling at Rangers this season. What have you made of his performances and what should Derek McInnes do? 🤔
McInnes revealed that there has been an illness bug in the squad and that there could be one or two first-team regulars missing against St Johnstone. Tuur Rommens has also been dealing with illness this week, and could be out of action.
The other six players who will certainly miss out for Rangers are Lawrence Shankland, Youssef Chermiti, Daisuke Yokota, Cammy Devlin, Ross McCrorie and Jose Cifuentes. Of those, McCrorie appears to be the closest to making his first-team return.
For St Johnstone, Zach Mitchell is set to miss not just this game, but the rest of the season as well, with an ACL injury. The visitors will also be without their star midfielder Sam Stanton, who picked up an ankle injury in training.
McInnes ditched the two-striker system in the last game, and despite Badredine Bounani shining on the right wing, there may be the temptation to go with two up top again. We’re expecting Kevin Kelsy to be back in the eleven.
Dropping Bouanani or Minsu Kim does not make sense as both of them were arguably the best players for Rangers against Dundee. While Dan Neil did make a game-changing error, he has done well alongside Nicolas Raskin, so dropping him would not be the right thing to do.
This means that Minsu could be played on the left wing and Djeidi Gassama then drops to the bench. The Mauritania international has been hot and cold in recent weeks and may be better influencing the game in the second half.
In defence, dropping Emmanuel Fernandez could be on the cards, and Ben Godfrey seems like the logical choice to partner Olwethu Makhanya at the back.
Rangers have looked solid defensively and have quality players in attack to work their magic in the final third. For that reason, we predict Rangers to pick up a 3-0 victory.
As the game is played at 3pm on a Saturday, due to the UK’s broadcasting rules, it will not be shown on TV.
International fans can purchase the game for £9.99 on Rangers TV. International subscribers can stream the game via the website or the app.
