Liverpool produced yet another impressive comeback to maintain their 100% winning start to their Champions League programme with victory over Villarreal.
After George Mikautadze and Sergi Cardona had put the visitors in control before the half-hour mark, strikes from Alexis Mac Allister and Ronald Araujo drew the Reds level by the break before Mac Allister and substitute Florian Wirtz scored in the second half ahead of a Tanitoluwa Oluwaseyi consolation to secure a 4-3 win.
The result means Andoni Iraola's side have now earned three successive victories in all competitions for the first time under the new head coach.

Already wayward before early mistake gifted Villarreal opener and seemed affected by that for much of the first half. Not his usual composed self.

The one Liverpool player to appear determined from the first whistle, solid challenges, fine header for opener and struck one shot narrowly wide before initiating and finishing third goal.
