Latics were ball number 30 in tonight's draw, and were pulled out by former FA Cup winner Martin Keown, who was drawing the home teams.

There have been 52 competitive meetings between the two teams over the years, but this will be the first in 14 years.

Latics and Wednesday last went head to head in the the then Capital One Cup, in August 2012, with Sheffield Wednesday coming back from 2-0 down to win 4-2 on the night.
