Paris Saint-Germain won’t make a move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Ibrahim Maza (20), according to RMC Sport, despite reports to the contrary in Germany.
Dipping into the transfer window is an option at PSG’s disposal this winter as they look to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian suffered an ACL injury earlier this month and may not play again this season. There are plenty of ways to replace ‘Kvara’ internally, but Luis Enrique has not ruled out signing a player, should an opportunity arise.
Maza has been touted as a potential replacement in recent days. RMC Sport understands, however, that the Algeria international will not be the subject of an approach from the reigning European champions this winter. Les Parisiens, however, are not opposed to signing a prospect during the January transfer window, should the opportunity arise. They would only make such a signing at a reasonable price. PSG wouldn’t limit themselves to recruiting an attacker.
