Liverpool supporters were left pointing the finger at Alisson Becker on Sunday after the goalkeeper sold Jeremy Jacquet short with a pass which Arsenal ultimately scored from at Anfield.
Alisson has been slightly shoddy with his kicking all season so far, but the Brazilian perhaps felt that Jacquet could have done more to get to his pass ahead of Martin Odegaard.
And he was left annoyed with his centre-back once again on Wednesday evening, after seeing him turn his back and deflect Mason Greenwood’s free-kick into the net during the Champions League match against Fenerbahce.

The Champions League delivered yet again on Tuesday with some incredible games 🔥 Which result is the best of the lot and why?
After a faultless start to the season since his move from Rennes, Sunday was Jacquet’s first real error of the season, even if Alisson was the more guilty party.
The Frenchman began Wednesday’s match in better fashion, but played a big part in Fenerbahce’s equaliser, as he inadvertently made it impossible for Alisson to stop Greenwood’s strike.
Though many fans would have felt that Jacquet was simply unlucky, Ally McCoist spotted that Alisson did not share that opinion. Commentating for TNT Sports, the Scotsman said that he saw the goalie raging with the defender and thought that he was justified in doing so.
“The goalkeeper is not too happy with the wall,” said McCoist. “I think it’s Jacquet and he’s livid, absolutely livid. He turns his back, side on. You’ve got to stand up and take it.
“He’s livid, the goalkeeper Alisson is livid, with a lot of justification, Darren [Fletcher, fellow commentator]. He’s actually side on. Not good defending, for someone who’s having a good season into the bargain.”
It was debatable whether Greenwood’s shot would have gone in had Jacquet not found himself in the way, but had the 21-year-old fronted up regardless, it certainly would not have.
