Arsenal made it two wins from two in the Champions League as they scored three times in the second half to sweep Lille aside at the Emirates Stadium.
Right-back Jurrien Timber netted the opener with a cute dinked finish before further goals from Eberechi Eze and substitute Bukayo Saka, who assisted the second just moments after coming off the bench, capped a resounding victory on home soil for Mikel Arteta's Premier League champions.
Arsenal are one of only three sides to have maintained their 100 per cent record after two games and next week, they travel to Bayern Munich, who will be keen to respond to their underwhelming 3-3 draw against Viking.
Olivier Giroud also came off the bench for the visitors to mark his return to north London - here's how the Gunners players rated following a successful night's work.

David Raya
Nearly got caught out after rolling the ball out in the first half. Thankfully Arsenal cleared the danger. Couldn't do much about Ayase Ueda's disallowed goal. 6
Jurrien Timber
Huge signs that he's getting back to his old self. Bombed up the right flank in the first half and put in several dangerous deliveries. His fitness, in terms of making those darting runs up the pitch, seems to be building nicely much to the credit of Arsenal and Holland's medical teams, who worked closely together to protect the defender during the international break. Got his goal, too. Excellent. 9
Ezri Konsa
Steady and looks right at home alongside Gabriel Magalhaes at the heart of Arsenal's defence. Matty Cash said earlier today that Konsa is playing at the same level he always has at Aston Villa but now he's finally getting credit as he's doing it for a Big Six club. People have been sleeping on him. 7
Gabriel Magalhaes
Didn't have an awful lot to do. Blocked a long-range effort from former Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb which eventually resulted in Lille having a goal correctly ruled out for offside. 7
Myles Lewis-Skelly
Excelled in left-back role. Not his favoured position but still a great option for Mikel Arteta as he's so assured in possession. Threatening on overlap and delivery caused problems, too. His weight of pass was exceptional all night. 8
Bruno Guimaraes
Put in an early crunching challenge in the 10th minute that whipped up the crowd then missed a great opportunity, firing wide. Seems to be hitting his stride now after tough afternoon at Brighton before the international break. Just lacked the finishing touch having got into several dangerous positions. 7
Declan Rice
Captain for the night and led by example. The variety and quality of his passing was something to admire. Most of it was one touch. Such a brilliant technician and just seems to be getting better and better. 8
Arsenal ripped through Lille to record their second Champions League win of the season
Noni Madueke
Started brightly, faking inside left-back Romain Perraud. His chemistry with Jurrien Timber seemed really natural as the pair wreaked havoc down Arsenal's right flank during the first half. 7
Mikel Merino
Missed an early header and booked for needless first-half lunge. Seemed to struggle in attacking midfield role. 4
Eberechi Eze
On target on a night that will do his confidence the world of good. Quiet in the first half but applied a ruthless finish to convert Bukayo Saka's cutback. Sent a positive message to Mikel Arteta after a tough start to the season on a personal level. 7
Viktor Gyokeres
Really poor. The theme ahead of Leeds was that he was worthy of an opportunity if Kai Havertz was still missing but Havertz returned and now Gyokeres looks a tad short of confidence again after scoring in all four of Sweden's Nations League matches. Couldn't make the ball stick and was clumsy. 4
Bukayo Saka was on target and also assisted for Arsenal from the bench
Subs
Bukayo Saka
The perfect way to respond to last weekend's criticism. His quickfire goal and assist from the bench capped an explosive cameo and once again underlined why he is so important. 9
Martin Odegaard
Made a real difference immediately after entering the fray. Showcased real class on the ball, pressed high and injected new life into Arsenal's attack. 8
Kai Havertz
Looked more effective than Viktor Gyokeres after replacing the Swede. Teed up Bukayo Saka for Arsenal's third goal. Booked for fouling goalkeeper in stoppage time. 7
Ben White
Was always going to be hard to shine on the back of Jurrien Timber's efforts but sturdy. 6
Max Dowman
Dangerous and threatening from the off as soon as he came on late in the game. Can't help but feel he would have scored with more minutes. 7
