Kohli led India to title glory at the Under-19 World Cup in 2008 before breaking into the national side later that year. He has the most ODI hundreds in history, and is arguably India’s greatest Test captain.

Kohli retired from T20Is after India’s successful journey at the 2024 T20 World Cup, and from Test cricket in May 2025. He was part of the teams that won the 2011 World Cup as well as the 2025 Champions Trophy, and the ones that made it to the final in the 2021 and 2023 World Test Championships and the 2023 World Cup. He was part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru squad that won the IPL for the first time, in 2025, and when they defended the title in 2026.

Kohli continues to play in the IPL as well as in ODIs. In the latter, he has the second-most runs and the most hundreds in the history of the format. Take our quiz to test yourself on Virat Kohli’s illustrious career.
