Nantwich Town FC introduce new car parking system
new parking system at Nantwich Town FC

Nantwich Town FC is to amend its paid-for parking conditions on its land off Waterlode.

The club says it is introducing “affordable parking” for £1 for an hour or £2 all day under new “ParkingEye” system.

It says the new arrangements will help raise funds to support the club and will come into effect this month.

Under the new system on the land between Waterlode and Reaseheath Way, motorists will pay £1 for up to one hour, and £2 for all-day parking.

Drivers will be able to pay by card or app so no need to visit the football club to pay.

A club spokesperson said: “The ParkingEye arrangements apply only to the separate parking land adjacent to Waterlode and Reaseheath Way.

“The £2 all-day charge has been in place for several years.

“The new system makes payment more convenient and helps ensure the parking area is managed fairly.

“Importantly, the main stadium car park will continue to be FREE for community football participants and visitors to Nantwich Town FC and The Tea Lounge.

“Revenue generated will help support the maintenance of our facilities, our planned replacement rear 3G pitch project and the long-term future of the club.

“Nantwich Town FC is proud of its place within the local community.

“We believe these updated arrangements strike a sensible balance between providing affordable, convenient parking for those visiting the town and generating important income to help secure the future of our football club.

“We thank everyone for their continued understanding and support.”
