Brentford and Bournemouth are monitoring Fiorentina defender Eddy Kouadio, who is currently on loan at AC Monza, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The 20-year-old has impressed in Serie A this season and his progress is attracting attention from a number of clubs in England. Kouadio, an Italian international of Ivorian origin, has become an increasingly important member of the side managed by Ivan Juric.

He has played in each of the first eight league matches of the campaign, underlining his development and his ability to operate at the highest level of Italian football. His performances have also earned him a call-up from Roberto Mancini for Italy’s Nations League fixtures.

Kouadio joined Fiorentina in 2021 and worked his way through the club’s academy before making the step into professional football. He remains under contract with the Florence-based club until 30 June 2030, meaning Fiorentina will have a significant role in determining his next move.

Brentford already have a positive relationship with Fiorentina after signing Michael Kayode. Bournemouth are also continuing their recruitment strategy focused on young players from the Italian league.

There have been no official bids or advanced negotiations involving either Premier League club at this stage. However, the reported interest reflects Kouadio’s rise, with his current market value estimated at 6 million euros.

AC Monza’s next fixture is against Napoli in the ninth round of the Italian championship. The match is scheduled to feature odds of 4.20 for an AC Monza victory, 3.70 for a draw and 1.66 for a Napoli win, according to the betting company referenced in the source.
