Arda Guler has agreed terms over a bumper new deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

Quickly becoming a key figure for Los Blancos this season and with his stock at a red-hot high, the Turkish international is reportedly keen on extending his long-term future with the 15-time European champions.

Coming off the bench and playing a leading role as Real Madrid produced an iconic Champions League comeback away at Italian heavyweights Roma on Wednesday night, Jose Moruinho has been filled with praise for the 21-year-old starlet.

Despite initially struggling to find his feet after arriving in the Spanish capital following a blockbuster move from Fenerbahce back in the summer of 2023, Guler has featured in nine of Los Blancos’ first 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

TEAMtalk’s report suggests that the Turkish playmaker has agreed a new two-year deal and his revised contract will run until 2031 at the earliest.

With the 36-cap international pledging his future to Madrid, the Bernabeu hierarchy also successfully fended off plenty of Premier League interest.

It has been reported that both Manchester City and reigning Premier League champions Arsenal held talks with Guler’s camp during the summer over a potential switch to England.
