Aston Villa considering €13m move for River Plate goalkeeper Santiago Beltran

Aston Villa are interested in signing River Plate goalkeeper Santiago Beltran during the winter transfer window, according to football insider Ekrem Konur.

The 22-year-old Argentine is reportedly being considered as a potential addition to Unai Emery’s squad, with the Birmingham club prepared to offer about €13m for his services.

Beltran has played for River Plate since 2025 and remains under contract with the Argentine club until the end of December 2027.

Transfermarkt values the goalkeeper at €11m.
