Heart of Lions assistant coach Daniel Nii Adjei says his players are motivated to make an impact and prove their worth when they face Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Ahead of the big game, the coach acknowledged the stature of the Phobians but insisted his team would approach the Week 10 encounter with confidence and determination.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, he said the opportunity to face a big club like Hearts of Oak has motivated his players to show their quality.
“Accra Hearts of Oak is big. In a game of football, it is there, but on Sunday we are going there to play a football match. The players are motivated by the name Accra Hearts of Oak because everybody wants to make an impact in the game and prove that they are also worthy to play for Heart of Lions. So, Hearts of Oak are a big club, but I believe that on Sunday we are also going to do our best to prove something," he told Heart of Lions TV.
The Ghana Premier League Week 10 fixture between Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions will take place on Sunday, November 8.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the University of Ghana Stadium.
