FC Ashantigold head coach Abdul Karim Zito says his team has adjusted its approach ahead of their match-week 7 Ghana Premier League clash against Aduana FC as they seek to improve their away performances.
The Miners have struggled on the road this season, with their only success in the away matches coming in a draw against Port City.
The experienced gaffer says the team must show a stronger mentality to overcome the challenge ahead.
“We have prepared well, but this time around, when you look at our away matches, aside from Port City, we failed in the rest, and this is very bad,” Zito told FC Ashantigold TV.
Zito further revealed that the team has worked on its attitude and approach in preparation for the encounter, stressing that mental strength will be crucial to their performance.
“Because of that, we have changed our approach and built the right attitude to face the task ahead. Football is about attitude. If you say you can do it, then you can do it,” he added.
FC AshantiGold 04 head into the fixture in fifth place with 10 points after recording three wins, two defeats and a draw from their opening six matches.
The game is slated for Sunday, October 18, at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Stadium at 15:00GMT (3:00pm)
