Reflecting on the team’s recent performances, which have yielded an impressive four wins and a draw across all competitions, Ngumoha emphasized that the mood within the dressing room is at an all-time high.
Speaking after a hard-fought victory that secured their progression to the quarter-finals, the talented forward noted that the squad had to demonstrate both technical quality and defensive resilience to get over the line.
“The boys were buzzing. I think it was a good game. We played well, we dug deep and it was a great result. We’re happy to get through to the quarter-finals,” Ngumoha remarked.
Looking ahead to the immediate future, the youngster stressed that Liverpool enter every fixture with the dual objective of entertaining the supporters and securing maximum points, with all attention now fixed on the North London outfit.
Alongside the team’s collective success, Ngumoha reserved special praise for teammate Trey Nyoni, tipping the 19-year-old midfielder to unlock even greater potential under the current tactical setup.
“Trey is top. You guys haven’t even seen him at his top, top level. He definitely still has another level to go. He’s only 19. The sky is the limit for Trey,” Ngumoha added, expressing delight at seeing his teammate thrive and earn valuable minutes on the pitch.
