Chelsea deepen Manchester United crisis with 2-0 win

Chelsea scored two second half goals to claim a 2-0 win over ten-man Manchester United in the English Premier League.

The momentum of the troubled visitors changed in the second half as Chelsea took over proceeding, and netted the first goal five minutes after the restart.

Rogers collected a pass after Chelsea won possessions, and the attacker surged forward unchallenged into the penalty area and produced a chipped finish.

The second came from a penalty kick awarded for dangerous foul by Lisandro Martinez. The Argentine defender was sent off for a second yellow card, and Palmer squeezed home his kick for 2-0.

Estevao’s third strike was cancelled by VAR, but Chelsea returned to winning ways and fourth place on the log.
