Ghana midfielder Kwasi Sibo and his Al Swehly teammates have arrived in Tunisia ahead of their decisive second-leg encounter against Esperance in the CAF Champions League second preliminary round.
The Libyan side take a slender 1-0 advantage into the return fixture after securing victory in the first leg last week.
Sibo, who missed the opening round of the preliminary competition, featured in midfield in the first leg and played an important role in helping Al Swehly claim the win.
Ayoub Ayed scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute to give the Libyan club a narrow lead ahead of the return encounter.
Al Swehly will now look to protect their advantage in Tunisia and secure qualification for the next round as they pursue a place in the CAF Champions League group stage.
The group stage offers a significant financial incentive, making progression an important objective for the Libyan outfit.
Sibo's experience, including his spell with Spanish club Real Oviedo, could prove valuable as Al Swehly seek to withstand Esperance's challenge and keep their continental campaign on track.
The Ghana midfielder is also expected to be in contention for a place in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Ghana aiming to improve their position in the campaign.
