Bechem United returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion on Sunday, beating Debibi United 3-0 at Nana Gyeabour Park to bounce back from last weekend’s away defeat to Basake Holy Stars.

The Hunters made a blistering start and maintained their attacking intent throughout the contest, putting Debibi United under pressure and limiting the visitors’ ability to settle into the game.

Isaiah Nyarko broke the deadlock in the 36th minute, rewarding Bechem’s bright performance and giving the hosts the momentum to push for more goals.

Debibi United struggled to respond as Bechem continued to dictate proceedings, with the hosts carrying their advantage into the second half.

Kelvin Appiah doubled Bechem’s lead in the 71st minute, putting the Hunters in a commanding position. The forward then struck again in the 80th minute to complete his brace and seal a convincing victory.

The result provides a timely boost for Bechem United following their defeat to Basake Holy Stars, as they return to winning ways and strengthen their position in the league standings.

The victory moves the Hunters up to sixth place, while Debibi United drop into the bottom three after failing to find a response against a determined Bechem side.

Bechem will now turn their attention to an away test against Heart of Lions as they look to build on the victory and maintain their upward momentum.

Debibi United, meanwhile, face another difficult assignment when they welcome high-flying Hearts of Oak, with the pressure mounting on them to improve their results and move away from the relegation zone.
