Debibi United will be desperate to halt their losing run when they host Gold Stars SC at the Debibi Presby Park in a Matchday 7 fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.

The league newcomers head into the contest under pressure after suffering three consecutive defeats, the latest a heavy 3-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea. Debibi United currently occupy 17th place on the table with four points and know a positive result is vital in their bid to move away from the relegation zone.

Despite their struggles, the hosts have shown resilience at home, where they have recorded one win, one draw and one defeat from their three league matches this season.

Gold Stars arrive in improved spirits after a convincing 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars, a result that ended their two-match winless run. The Miners are 14th in the standings with seven points and will be aiming to build on that momentum.

The visitors have also produced encouraging performances away from home, collecting one win, one draw and one defeat from three matches, giving them confidence ahead of the trip to Debibi.

With both teams separated by just three points, Sunday's encounter could prove crucial in shaping the early-season standings.

Team News

Debibi United are expected to retain faith in the squad despite last weekend's defeat, with the coaching staff hoping for an improved performance on home soil.

Gold Stars are likely to stick with the side that impressed against Basake Holy Stars as they seek consecutive league victories.
