Bibiani GoldStars will welcome former champions Aduana FC at the Dun's Park on Sunday with hopes of returning to winning ways.
The Miners have endured a torrid start to the season, after another defeat on the road stretched their winless away run to five matches.
Meanwhile, at home, GoldStars have won three matches and lost only one in four games. This makes them a formidable side to face at the Dun's Park.
However, Aduana FC have had a bright start to the season and currently sit 4th on the table, just two points behind leaders Medeama SC.
The Ogya lads have won three and lost two of their last five matches while GoldStars have won only two and lost three of their last five games.
The two sides have met ten times in the Ghana Premier League with GoldStars having the edge over Aduana FC. GoldStars have won five of their ten encounters with one ending in a draw.
The home side will be counting on prolific goal-scorer Kwame Opoku to deliver on the day, having been a key figure since arriving in the transfer window. Also Bernard Kesse will be providing the needed support upfront.
On the other side, Aduana FC have enjoyed consistent performance from Mohammed Shawkan, who arrived in the transfer window, alongside Seidu Saana and the evergreen Stephen Amankona.
While there is so much pressure on GoldStars coach Petros Koukouras, Samuel Boadi seems to be steering the wheels in the right direction in Dormaa.
The game is expected to produce some sumptuous football from two big clubs in Ghana.
