According to a report by FootballTransfers on Saturday, November 7, 2026, Chelsea are among several European clubs monitoring Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque ahead of the January transfer window, with the Brazilian forward's agent confirming growing interest in his client.
The Blues are reportedly tracking the 21-year-old alongside other Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
Roque has revived his career since returning to Brazilian football following a difficult period in Europe. Barcelona signed him from Athletico Paranaense for €30 million in early 2024, but he struggled to establish himself at the Spanish club.
After spending time on loan at Real Betis, Barcelona sold the striker to Palmeiras for €25.5 million in February 2025, while retaining a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
The Brazilian enjoyed an impressive first season back in his homeland, scoring 20 goals in 2025 as Palmeiras finished runners-up in both the Brazilian Serie A and Copa Libertadores.
His performances have since attracted interest from several European clubs, although injuries have disrupted his progress this year. Roque has recorded nine goals in 40 appearances in 2026, playing slightly more than 2,000 minutes.
His representative, Andre Cury, has confirmed that several European sides are interested in securing the striker's services.
"There are many clubs in Europe interested in Vitor," Cury said.
Everton are reportedly among the teams considering a move for the Brazilian, while Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have also been linked with him.
However, Palmeiras are believed to value Roque at a minimum of €50 million, meaning any club hoping to sign him in January could face a significant financial commitment.
Chelsea's interest is particularly noteworthy given their current attacking options, which include Joao Pedro, Danny Welbeck and Emmanuel Emegha.
Nevertheless, Emegha's situation has raised doubts about his long-term future at Stamford Bridge. The Dutch forward has struggled to secure regular opportunities under Xabi Alonso and has played only 22 minutes since joining Chelsea, having also spent time recovering from a hamstring injury.
With Roque attracting attention from several clubs and Chelsea reviewing their attacking options, the Palmeiras forward could become a major target during the January transfer window, while Emegha's role in Alonso's plans remains uncertain.
