According to a report by GOAL on Thursday, October 22, 2026, Paris Saint Germain are considering a €50 million move for Bayer Leverkusen youngster Ibrahim Maza as they search for a possible replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has reportedly suffered a season-ending knee injury.
Kvaratskhelia's absence would be a major setback for PSG manager Luis Enrique, as the Georgian winger plays an important role in the team's attack with his pace, creativity and ability to beat defenders. The French champions could therefore look to strengthen their forward line during the January transfer window.
According to reports from Fichajes, PSG have identified Maza as a potential target. The 20 year old Algerian international has impressed at Bayer Leverkusen with his technical skills and ability to play in different attacking positions.
Maza has reportedly scored three goals and provided three assists in eight appearances across all competitions this season. His performances have attracted interest from several major European clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid.
However, signing the young midfielder could prove difficult for PSG. Leverkusen are reportedly keen to keep him and are working on a new contract, despite his current deal running until 2030.
PSG may need to offer around €50 million to convince the Bundesliga side to consider selling, although no official bid has been confirmed.
With Kvaratskhelia reportedly facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, PSG may have to explore the transfer market for attacking reinforcements. Maza has emerged as a possible option, but it remains unclear whether the French club will make a formal move for him in January.
