The Spanish champions demonstrated their attacking quality from the opening stages, taking the lead in the 12th minute when Caroline Graham Hansen converted a penalty to put the visitors ahead.
Barcelona continued to dominate possession and create scoring opportunities, with Ewa Pajor doubling their advantage in the 33rd minute after receiving an assist from Claudia Pina. The visitors maintained their 2-0 lead until the half time break.
However, Barcelona returned for the second half with even greater attacking intensity, putting the Danish side under sustained pressure.

The visitors showed no intention of easing their pressure, and Clara Serrajordi extended their advantage in the 62nd minute. Francisca Nazareth then added Barcelona's sixth goal in the 67th minute, leaving HB Køge with an increasingly difficult task.
Claudia Pina joined the scoresheet in the 70th minute, taking Barcelona's tally to seven goals. The forward completed her brace five minutes before the final whistle, converting an assist from Francisca Nazareth to seal the impressive 8-0 victory.
HB Køge struggled throughout the match and failed to find a response to Barcelona's relentless attacking display. The Danish team were unable to prevent the visitors from completing one of their most convincing performances in the competition.
The result further strengthened Barcelona Women's position in the UEFA Women's Champions League standings. The Spanish side moved to the top of the table with nine points, while HB Køge remained in 11th place with three points following the heavy home defeat.
