Freeman (shoulder) was waived by the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Freeman appeared in three preseason games for Minnesota, averaging 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds over 5.7 minutes per contest. He does have experience at the NBA level beyond the preseason, so there's a chance he could earn a deep roster spot with a club at some point moving forward.
