AFCON 2027 qualifiers: Cameroon’s Nagida to miss Namibia clash

Cameroon will face Namibia without Aboubakar Nagida, who will miss the first leg of their AFCON 2027 qualifying encounter on November 12. His suspension comes as a setback for the Indomitable Lions ahead of this important fixture.

The Cameroonian left-back picked up two yellow cards during the opening rounds of the qualifiers. He received his first caution against Comoros before collecting another against Congo. Consequently, the accumulated bookings rule him out of the trip to Namibia.

Nagida’s absence leaves the Cameroonian coaching staff with a decision to make at left-back as they prepare for the encounter. The Indomitable Lions must now identify a suitable replacement and find a way to secure a positive result away from home.
