Georges Mikautadze has delivered a clear message about his transfer plans amid reports linking him with Tottenham and other big European clubs.
Spurs fans would have lost count of the number of strikers to be linked with a move to the North London club ahead of the January window, with the Lilywhites desperately lacking a goalscorer upfront.
One of the many names who have been mooted as a target for Tottenham is Mikautadze, who the Lilywhites have reportedly been impressed by over the last 12 months.
The Georgian international, who can also play as a ten and off the left, has 20 goals and eight assists in 57 appearances since joining the La Liga club from Lyon in the summer of 2025.
The 26-year-old Tottenham target netted against Liverpool in the Champions League last month, which would have served as evidence to the North London club that he can deliver against top-class Premier League opposition.

The Lilywhites are not the only ones who are eyeing the Villarreal striker, with The Mirror revealing that Spurs could face competition from Newcastle United and Barcelona, both of whom have Mikautadze on their wishlist.
Ahead of Villarreal’s Champions League clash against PSG, the Lyon-born striker was asked about his ambitions, and he expressed a desire to move to a big club.
However, Mikautadze also made it clear that a move to Barcelona would be his top choice if the opportunity to move to Camp Nou presented itself.
The 26-year-old told L’Equipe: “I think I’m ready to go to a big club. I have everything I need, and I try to show it every time. I just maybe need a little more time.”
Specifically responding to Barcelona’s interest in him, he said: “Yes, it’s flattering, and it motivates me even more. It also means that the work is being done well.
“As a child, ever since the Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets era and the MSN [Messi-Suarez-Neymar] trio, I’ve been a Barca supporter. But I hadn’t really thought about it.”
Another forward that Tottenham will be keeping a close eye on is Eli Junior Kroupi, who is back from the foot injury that kept him out of the first couple of months of the campaign.
Spurs were reportedly 24 hours away from launching a big offer for the 20-year-old in the summer before he sustained his injury.
One would thus expect the North London club to assess the youngster’s performance closely over the next few months.
Bournemouth reportedly value Kroupi at £80m, but the South Coast club are not thought to be keen on selling their star forward mid-season.
