It seems unthinkable that Michael Carrick will survive Manchester United's latest humbling after they were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth on Sunday.

The result means the Red Devils have won just twice in their opening 12 games of the campaign in all competitions leaving Carrick on the brink of the sack.

Attentions will now turn to who could be the next man in the Old Trafford hotseat with United still to find a long-term successor to Sir Alex Ferguson - 13 years after he retired.

Antonio Conte, Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann top the betting with a host of other names also in the frame.

So - who should be next United boss? And can they finally restore the club to its former glories and get them challenging domestically and in Europe?
