Final Champions League Table After The End Of Matchday4

According to a report by BBC Sport on Thursday, November 5, 2026, the UEFA Champions League league-phase standings have experienced further changes following the conclusion of Matchday Four, with several top European clubs recording important results in their respective fixtures.

Arsenal secured an impressive 2-1 victory against Slavia Prague away from home, thanks to an outstanding first-half performance. The Gunners started the encounter with attacking intensity and created several opportunities before Noni Madueke broke the deadlock in the ninth minute.

The England international found the back of the net after receiving an excellent pass from Viktor Gyökeres. Arsenal continued to dominate proceedings, with Gyökeres, Mikel Merino and Eberechi Eze causing problems for the home team's defence.

Despite several impressive saves from Slavia Prague goalkeeper Nazar Domchak, Arsenal eventually increased their advantage in the 38th minute. Gyökeres finished brilliantly after being set up by Merino, giving the visitors a comfortable two-goal cushion before the interval.

Slavia Prague returned for the second half with greater determination and began putting Arsenal under considerable pressure. David Raya was called into action several times, producing important saves to prevent the hosts from reducing the deficit earlier.

The home side continued searching for a way back into the contest, with Oskar Kubiak coming particularly close when his header struck the post.

However, Slavia Prague eventually found the net in the 90th minute through Wiktor Nowak, who converted David Jurasek's cross to give the home supporters hope.

Although the late goal created a tense finish, Arsenal managed to protect their advantage and secured all three points.

The victory further strengthened Arsenal's position in the Champions League standings as the competition entered another important stage of the league phase.

With Matchday Four now completed, attention has shifted to the updated standings, as Europe's biggest clubs continue their battle for automatic qualification to the round of 16.

The results recorded across the latest round of fixtures have also increased the pressure on teams hoping to finish among the leading eight positions, while clubs outside the qualification places must work harder in the remaining matches to improve their chances of progressing in the competition.
