According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United are considering a major move for Chelsea winger Estevao. A report published on Monday, November 2, 2026, claims United could offer around €103 million (£86 million) for the 19-year-old. Chelsea, however, are keen to keep the highly rated Brazilian and are expected to resist any approach from their Premier League rivals.
United have reportedly been tracking Estevao and see him as a possible long-term addition as they look to strengthen their attack. The winger has attracted interest from several European clubs since Chelsea secured his signature. Despite Chelsea’s disappointing 2025/26 season, he impressed when given opportunities with his technical skill, creativity and attacking threat.
His playing time is said to have fallen since Xabi Alonso became Chelsea’s head coach, prompting speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge. However, Spanish newspaper AS reports that Chelsea do not intend to sell him in January. The club are instead preparing a new contract to reinforce their commitment and secure his long-term future.
Estevao recently returned to Chelsea’s starting lineup against Manchester United, helping his side win 2–0. He put in a strong performance and had two goals ruled out, underlining the qualities that have made him one of football’s most promising young players.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has discussed the expectations surrounding Estevao’s move to Chelsea and his performances for club and country. He also noted that the Brazilian had enjoyed a positive spell before his opportunities became more limited under Alonso.
After Chelsea’s win, Alonso reportedly conceded that Estevao might be unhappy with his current situation. The manager said an injury had affected the teenager’s availability and that he needed time to regain full fitness. Alonso also reassured supporters that more chances would come once he had recovered, saying, “His time, his moments will come soon.”
Chelsea’s resolve to retain Estevao could complicate Manchester United’s reported interest, especially since the club views him as a key part of its future plans.
