LaLiga Table After Real Madrid Won 3-0

According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Real Madrid secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Racing Santander in their La Liga encounter after producing an impressive first-half performance. Goals from Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande gave the visitors a comfortable advantage before the break, allowing them to control the match for the remainder of the contest.

Real Madrid started the game with confidence and immediately looked to take control through their attacking play. Arda Guler created an early opportunity in the eighth minute, but his effort went narrowly wide of the target. Bellingham also came close to opening the scoring shortly afterwards with a header that forced Racing Santander goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala into an important save.

The breakthrough eventually arrived in the 11th minute after Matteo Prati committed a foul inside the penalty area. The referee awarded Real Madrid a penalty, and Mbappe stepped forward to take responsibility. The French forward showed composure as he sent the ball into the bottom corner to give his team a 1-0 lead.

Madrid continued to put pressure on their opponents and doubled their advantage in the 21st minute. Guler produced an excellent pass into the penalty area, finding Bellingham in a dangerous position. The England international controlled the opportunity well and finished confidently to make it 2-0.

The visitors added another goal in the 36th minute through Diomande. After the ball rebounded towards him outside the penalty area, the attacker reacted quickly and unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner. Agirrezabala was unable to stop the effort, leaving Racing Santander with a difficult three-goal deficit before half-time.

Following the restart, Racing Santander attempted to improve their attacking performance and find a way back into the match. However, Real Madrid remained dangerous whenever they moved forward. Mbappe nearly scored his second goal in the 60th minute, but his effort struck the right post. Bellingham also tested the opposing goalkeeper three minutes later.

The home side received an opportunity to reduce the deficit in the 72nd minute when Aurelien Tchouameni was penalised for handball inside the penalty area. However, after reviewing the incident with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), the referee overturned the initial decision, and no penalty was awarded.

Real Madrid continued to create opportunities during the closing stages but could not add another goal. Racing Santander also failed to find a breakthrough as the match ended 3-0.

The victory gave Real Madrid an important result in their La Liga campaign, with their clinical finishing in the first half proving decisive. Their ability to establish a commanding lead early in the match also allowed them to manage the second half without conceding.
