According to a post on his official Instagram account on Sunday November 1, 2026, Ibrahima Konaté shared a glimpse of Real Madrid’s post-match celebrations after the club’s 3–0 La Liga win over Real Racing Club on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

The defender posted a photo on Instagram showing him shaking hands with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez in the dressing room. He captioned the image: “Onwards we go"

The post came after Madrid’s victory and drew reactions from supporters, including one fan who commented: “ROCK”. Konaté’s picture captured a moment from inside the changing room, where Pérez visited the squad following the match.

Pérez’s post-game visits to the dressing room are a familiar part of life at Real Madrid, giving the club president an opportunity to congratulate players and staff after a result.

Konaté’s photo placed him at the centre of that scene, offering followers a personal view of the team’s celebrations.

The 3–0 result gave Madrid a strong finish to the fixture, with the clean sheet also reflecting the defensive work of the team. Konaté’s post did not include a longer match assessment, instead keeping the message brief and focused on looking ahead.

“Onwards we go” suggested the defender was already turning his attention to the club’s next challenge.

Konaté joined Real Madrid on a free transfer from Liverpool in the summer of 2026. His move brought him to a new league and dressing room, and the Instagram post offered another indication of his presence within the squad.

Since arriving, he has established himself as an important part of Madrid’s defence under manager José Mourinho.
