Erling Haaland currently leads the Premier League goal contribution chart with nine, but João Pedro is making sure the race remains interesting. The Chelsea forward has registered eight goal contributions, putting him just one behind the Manchester City striker. What makes this achievement even more impressive is that João Pedro has missed three matches through injury and still managed to establish himself among the league's most productive players.

His numbers are a clear reflection of his quality, consistency and importance to Chelsea's attacking setup. Despite missing valuable playing time, he has continued to deliver whenever he has been available. His ability to score goals, create opportunities and contribute to the team's attacking play makes him an increasingly important figure for the Blues.

Evanilson also sits on eight contributions, while Pascal Groß has seven. Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Alexander Isak are all on six, highlighting just how competitive the race has become. However, João Pedro's position in this ranking deserves particular recognition, considering the time he has spent on the sidelines.

Being just one goal contribution behind Haaland despite missing three games is no small achievement. If João Pedro maintains his current form and stays fit, there is every reason to believe he can challenge for the top spot. Chelsea fans will undoubtedly hope he continues delivering as the season progresses. The Brazilian is proving that he has the quality to compete with the Premier League's very best.
