The Nigerian international played a decisive role in the derby, helping his team claim an important victory through his clinical finishing and attacking influence.
Osimhen opened the scoring in the 29th minute after receiving an excellent pass from Baris Yilmaz inside the penalty area. The striker showed composure and precision to convert the opportunity, giving Galatasaray an early advantage and putting pressure on their opponents.
Throughout the first half, the Nigerian forward continued to trouble Fenerbahce's defence with his physical strength, intelligent movement and ability to exploit spaces. His constant attacking runs created difficulties for the visitors, although goalkeeper Ederson produced an impressive save to deny him another opportunity before the break.

Fenerbahce responded after the interval and managed to reduce the deficit in the 62nd minute through Irfan Kahveci. The midfielder produced an impressive scissor kick to beat the goalkeeper, giving the visitors renewed hope of securing a result from the fiercely contested encounter.
The goal increased the pressure on Galatasaray as Fenerbahce pushed forward in search of an equaliser. Nevertheless, the home side remained organised and defended their advantage during the closing stages, preventing their opponents from finding another breakthrough.
Osimhen continued to provide an attacking threat before being substituted in the 88th minute, when Wilfried Singo entered the game. By that stage, the striker had already made the difference with his two goals, which ultimately separated the teams.
His performance earned him the Man of the Match award, recognising his clinical finishing, positioning and overall influence on the contest. The Nigerian striker demonstrated once again his importance to Galatasaray, delivering when his team needed him most.
The derby victory represented a significant result for Galatasaray, while Osimhen's contribution further underlined his ability to perform in high-pressure matches. His brace proved decisive in a fiercely contested encounter against their major rivals.
