According to a report by Flashscore on Monday, October 26, 2026, Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahce 2-1 in the Turkish Super Lig, with Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen named Player of the Match after scoring both goals for the hosts in the Istanbul derby.

Galatasaray took the lead in the 29th minute when Baris Yilmaz supplied a pass to Osimhen inside the penalty area. The Nigerian striker took advantage of the opportunity, firing a shot into the bottom-right corner to beat Fenerbahce goalkeeper Ederson.
