‘He’s unbelievable’ — Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs heap praise on Real Madrid superstar

According to a report by Madrid Universal on Sunday November 1, 2026, Manchester United legends Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs have delivered glowing praise for Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, describing him as an outstanding talent with the ability to take control of matches.

The England international has continued to attract admiration for his performances at club and international level, with his energy, technical quality and leadership making him an important figure for Real Madrid.

Speaking on Rio Meets, Giggs highlighted Bellingham's mentality and compared him to former Manchester United captains Roy Keane and Bryan Robson.

"Jude Bellingham takes complete control of a match," Giggs said, as quoted by RM4Arab.

"He reminds us of old-school players like Roy Keane and Bryan Robson, those players who say to themselves, 'Things aren't going the way they should, so I'll make things happen myself.'"

The Welshman added that such a quality was particularly impressive for a player of Bellingham's age.

Ferdinand was equally impressed by the midfielder and agreed with his former teammate's assessment.

"I love Jude Bellingham. He's unbelievable," the former Manchester United defender said.

He also agreed that the Real Madrid star possesses qualities associated with players from previous generations.

Bellingham's rise to the top has been remarkable. After beginning his professional career at Birmingham City, he established himself at Borussia Dortmund before securing a high-profile move to Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old has since developed into one of the Spanish giants' key players, earning recognition for his ability to influence games and take responsibility in difficult moments.

He has also started the new season strongly under Jose Mourinho, who has made him an important part of his plans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The praise from Ferdinand and Giggs further highlights Bellingham's growing reputation, with the midfielder continuing to establish himself among the leading players of his generation.
