According to a report by BBC Sport on Monday, October 19, 2026, Barcelona will face French giants Paris Saint-Germain in an upcoming UEFA Champions League match as Hansi Flick aims to continue his team's winning run. The Spanish side will be hoping to build on their impressive 5-2 victory over Real Betis and secure another important result against a strong PSG team. Flick is expected to make some key selections as Barcelona prepare for the difficult test in Paris.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia

Defenders: Kounde, Cubarsi, Gerard Martin, Xavi Espart

Midfielders: Rodri, Pedri

Attackers: Yamal, Fermin Lopez, Karim Adeyemi

Striker: Gabriel Jesus

Joan Garcia is expected to keep his place in goal for the Champions League encounter, while Jules Kounde could start at right-back and Xavi Espart may be trusted on the opposite side. In central defence, Pau Cubarsi and Gerard Martin are likely to form the partnership as Barcelona look to keep PSG's dangerous attackers under control.

In midfield, Rodri could partner Pedri in a combination that offers Barcelona both defensive protection and creativity when moving the ball forward. Rodri's ability to win possession and control the tempo could be important against a PSG side that will look to put pressure on the visitors, while Pedri's passing and movement should help Barcelona create chances.

On the right wing, Lamine Yamal is expected to start after his impressive display against Real Betis, where Barcelona scored five goals. Fermin Lopez could operate in the number 10 position, using his energy and movement to support the attack, while Karim Adeyemi may be selected on the left to give the team pace and a direct threat.

Gabriel Jesus is tipped to lead the attack as Barcelona look to trouble the French side's defence and make good use of their chances. Flick will hope his attacking players can maintain their confidence and deliver another strong performance as Barcelona chase a positive result against PSG.
