Chelsea youngster Estêvão is reportedly unhappy with his lack of first-team opportunities under manager Xabi Alonso and could reconsider his future if his situation at Stamford Bridge fails to improve.
According to a report by FootballTransfers on Sunday, October 25, 2026, the 19-year-old Brazilian forward is becoming increasingly concerned about his limited involvement, having played just 47 minutes in the Premier League this season.
Estêvão made a promising start to his Chelsea career last season, making 24 league appearances and scoring eight goals across all competitions. However, despite being regarded as one of the club's most exciting young talents, he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Alonso.
His situation came under further scrutiny during Chelsea's 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday. Alonso selected summer signing Geovany Quenda in the starting lineup before bringing Estêvão on in the 72nd minute.
Although Chelsea have been among the Premier League's most prolific attacking sides this season, Alonso has largely stuck with his preferred attacking options. Pedro Neto's impressive performances on the right wing have also reduced Estêvão's chances of featuring regularly in his favoured position.
Reports indicate that the Brazilian believes he deserves more opportunities but remains determined to fight for his place in the team. Nevertheless, he could reconsider his future in January if his playing time does not improve.
Chelsea are keen to keep hold of the teenager, having signed him for approximately €45 million last summer. The club views him as a significant part of its long-term project and is reportedly interested in discussing a new contract with him, despite his current agreement having another seven years to run.
Barcelona are among the clubs reportedly monitoring developments surrounding the forward. However, Chelsea could demand a substantial transfer fee if they were forced to consider his departure. Estêvão's estimated market value currently stands at approximately €110.9 million.
Meanwhile, Alonso has previously suggested that the youngster will have opportunities to prove himself. The Chelsea manager also explained that fitness problems during the summer contributed to the forward's limited involvement.
