Arsenal have reportedly completed their first signing of the 2026 summer window with the arrival of teenage forward Andria Bartishvili from FC Kolkheti Poti in a deal worth around £4.5 million, according to Football London on Monday June 22, 2026.
The 17-year-old has already built senior experience despite his age, making 35 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His performances have impressed Arsenal scouts, who have highlighted his technical ability, confidence in possession, and maturity in attacking situations.
Bartishvili has drawn comparisons to Alexis Sánchez and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia due to his explosive dribbling, close control, and ability to beat defenders in wide areas. His low centre of gravity and quick changes of direction make him especially dangerous in one-on-one situations.
The move also fits into Arsenal’s wider recruitment strategy of combining elite youth development with senior-level additions. Alongside this signing, the club are still pursuing more established attacking targets such as Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola as they look to strengthen their frontline.
Bartishvili is expected to continue his development within Arsenal’s academy structure before pushing toward first-team contention in the future, with the club viewing him as a long-term project who could eventually transition into senior football if his progress continues.
