According to reports, Bellingham reached the historic milestone ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League meeting with AEK Athens. Manager Jose Mourinho included the midfielder in a strong starting lineup as Los Blancos targeted their seventh consecutive victory across all competitions.
Bellingham began his Champions League journey with Borussia Dortmund after leaving Birmingham City. He quickly established himself as one of Europe's most promising midfielders before securing a move to Real Madrid.

He previously became the youngest footballer to make 50 Champions League appearances, achieving the feat on November 4, 2025. His latest achievement further highlights his consistency and importance at the highest level of European football.
Surpassing a record previously held by Casillas represents another significant achievement in Bellingham's growing career. The former England international has continued to strengthen his reputation following an impressive World Cup campaign and a positive start to the new season.
