According to a report by BBC Sports on Monday, November 2, 2026, Barcelona remain at the top of the LaLiga standings following a remarkable 6-1 triumph over Deportivo Alaves, while Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid also picked up important victories in the latest round of matches.

Barcelona returned to winning form on Saturday, October 31, with an emphatic performance against Alaves. The Catalan giants dominated proceedings, with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal both finding the net twice. Fermin Lopez and Anthony Gordon also contributed goals as Barcelona secured all three points.

The result takes Barcelona's tally to 30 points after 11 league matches. They have recorded 10 victories and one defeat, with 46 goals scored and 12 conceded so far this season.

Atletico Madrid continue to put pressure on their city rivals after defeating Levante 2-0 away from home. The victory leaves Diego Simeone's team in second position with 28 points from 11 games, just two points behind Barcelona.

Real Madrid also enjoyed a successful weekend after overcoming Racing Santander 3-0 on Sunday. Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande were the goalscorers as Jose Mourinho's men secured another valuable league victory.

Los Blancos now have 27 points and remain third on the table, three points behind Barcelona and one point below Atletico Madrid.

Real Betis occupy fourth position with 23 points, while Real Sociedad are fifth with 19 points. Sevilla follow in sixth place with 17 points, and Athletic Bilbao complete the top seven with 15 points.

Villarreal are eighth, while Celta Vigo, Alaves, Rayo Vallecano and Getafe occupy the next four positions. Deportivo La Coruna, Espanyol, Osasuna and Racing Santander are placed 13th to 16th respectively.

In the relegation battle, Elche are 17th with 10 points, followed by Levante in 18th with the same tally. Valencia occupy 19th position with nine points, while Malaga remain at the bottom with five points.

Barcelona currently have the advantage in the title race, but Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid remain within touching distance. With only three points separating the top three clubs, the competition for the LaLiga crown is becoming increasingly intense.
