The early signs were there against Betis.

Our midfield was completely run over against PSG - Pedri and Bernal played. Bernal looked out of depth. It was very disjointed. No control, PSG were passing/cutting through the middle at will. Pedri played sensationally for most part. But Pedri’s overall performance was absolutely shocking. In first two mins, he made two big errors that could and should have led to goals. And these were errors that he made with Spain too - running with the ball towards his own goal, trying to turn on the edge of your own box etc. That is unacceptable for a Barca central midfielder or any CM of quality really. No matter how well you play after that. Then he did it again in second half.

Yesterday vs RM - Well the horrors are still fresh in our minds. Rodri and Pedri played. First half - the worst performance that I seen from Barca in 2-3 years. Pedri making the same errors in the first 5 minutes and countless ones after. This should be unacceptable. Rodri cant complete a pass. It was so bad, I dont even want to write about it. We were shocking. We only played football from 60’ to 85’. 25 minutes thats all.

I have questioned Frenkie - not his salary, not his loyalty and commitment, not his injuries. But his performances in big games for Barca. That he has not controlled games from CM in real big games for Barca. Now I see Pedri and Rodri playing like this, maybe it wasnt Frenkie after all.

What are your thoughts culers? Do you think its tactical? But our history of such performances extends beyond Flick’s tenure.
